Rosanna's Approach to Teaching
At the heart of my teaching philosophy is creating an environment that encourages exploration and curiosity so students can grow as both individuals and creatives. With a master's degree in Theatre Education and a focus on building engaging curriculums, it is important to me to reach all kinds of students—different learning styles, backgrounds, abilities, and goals. I believe in meeting students where they are and providing opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive environment. The performing arts invite us to explore all facets of humanity, holding a mirror up so we can better understand ourselves and others. I am passionate about giving students opportunities to explore utilizing their voice in a variety of genres, strengthen their storytelling skills, and gain confidence behind the mic.
